Weber Shandwick Minneapolis was proud to support Second Harvest Heartland’s 12th annual Dish: Cuisine for Change on April 30, a gala that raised funds to support the organization’s food shelf programs, hunger research initiatives and community partnerships.
Weber Shandwick has been a long-time supporter of Second Harvest, partnering in pro bono and sponsorship work. This year, Weber Shandwick is helping the Second Harvest communications team translate a new organizational strategic plan into an overarching communications plan – complete with new key messages. And, our own Sara Gavin is a proud member of the Second Harvest board of directors.
The evening included food and drink tastings from 20 of Minneapolis/St. Paul’s favorite local chefs, silent and live auctions, a raffle and entertainment from comedian Paul Reiser. The event proved to be a success, helping Second Harvest in its effort to end hunger and raise awareness about working families and their struggles with food insecurity.
