After producing several corporate and project-specific case study videos for The Opus Group®, Weber Shandwick Minneapolis’ video production team was up to the task to tell the story of The Nic on Fifth®.
With a deep understanding of the significance of the project for both Opus and the city of Minneapolis, the team was challenged to create a case study video that highlighted the marquee project and showcased Opus’ expertise and capabilities as a commercial real estate design-builder.
Recognizing that Opus’ design-build process contributed greatly to the success of the finished project, the video also needed to highlight the integrated team of experts that worked on all aspects from development to design and construction. This required early planning and coordination for the video team to make multiple trips out to the building site to document various stages in the construction process. From concrete pours to interior construction, the team captured the building taking shape and weaved it in to the case study to visually show Opus’ broad range of capabilities.
Once the building was complete, the team gathered footage of model units, amenity spaces, penthouse views and the general lifestyle the building and location provide. Although the luxuriousness of the building speaks for itself, the team conducted video interviews for both first-person and third-party testimonials that spoke not only to the building, but Opus’ full suite of capabilities and strengths.
Today, Opus uses the case study video to tell the success story of The Nic on Fifth and leverage the significant project for other opportunities.
